Same-day emergency dental care.

Toothache, broken tooth, swelling or a lost crown? Call us and we’ll get you in today, whether or not you’re already a patient.

What counts as an emergency

If it hurts, call us.

Severe toothache

Throbbing or constant pain is often a sign of infection. Don’t wait for it to spread.

Broken or chipped tooth

Save any pieces, rinse gently with warm water and call us. Same-day crowns are often possible.

Knocked-out tooth

Hold it by the top, keep it moist in milk and call right away. Minutes matter.

Swelling or abscess

Facial swelling needs same-day care. If you have trouble breathing or swallowing, go to the ER or call 911.

Lost filling or crown

Keep the crown if you have it and avoid chewing on that side until we see you.

Not sure?

If something hurts or just feels off, call us. We’ll help you decide how soon you need to come in.

Questions

Emergency visit FAQs

Do I need to be a patient already?

No. New patients are always welcome for emergency visits.

Can you see me today?

We keep time open for emergencies every weekday. Call as early in the day as you can for the best availability.

How much does an emergency visit cost?

It depends on what you need. We’ll always tell you the cost before any treatment starts, and we accept most PPO insurance plans. We also offer financing options.

What if it’s after hours or the weekend?

Call (503) 433-2414 and leave a message. We’ll call you back first thing the next business morning. If you have severe swelling, trouble breathing or swallowing, or a serious injury, go to the nearest emergency room or call 911.

Do you offer sedation?

Yes. If you’re anxious, let us know and we’ll talk through sedation options to keep you comfortable.
