Clear aligners are custom trays that gradually move your teeth into place. They’re removable, so you can eat, brush and floss normally. We scan your teeth digitally and make your aligners in our office.
Braces are a great choice for more complex tooth movement, or if you’d rather not keep track of trays. Dr. Hieu provides braces right here at Atlas Dental, so there’s no need for a referral to another office.

Should I get clear aligners or braces?
It depends on your teeth, your goals and your lifestyle. Aligners are nearly invisible and removable. Braces can handle more complex movement and don’t need to be taken in and out. We’ll go over both with you at your consultation.
How long does treatment take?
It depends on your smile. Many cases take several months to a year. We’ll give you an estimate at your consultation.
How many hours a day do I wear aligners?
Usually 20 to 22 hours a day, taking them out to eat and brush.
Are aligners or braces right for me?
Both work for many adults and teens. We’ll let you know after your exam and scan.
